A Reminder For You To Make A Wish Come True

There is a wide variety of charitable organizations out there. And we’d be willing to bet that the vast majority of them are very honest and noble. It should go without saying that it’s important for us to all take steps to help those who are less fortunate. Even the simple acts of donating old clothes or contributing to food drives can go a long way in helping families in need. However, at Canadian POS, we can’t think of anyone we’d rather help than children.

This is why we have teamed up with Make-A-Wish Canada! As you may recall from previous blogs, we have established a special referral program that works in conjunction with this amazing organization. But, before we discuss that, allow us to give you some more details about Make-A-Wish Canada.

What does Make-A-Wish Canada do?

An affiliate of Make-A-Wish® International, which is the largest wish-granting organization in the world, Make-A-Wish Canada literally makes dreams come true for children who have critical illnesses. They have granted wishes for about a half million kids since 1980. We can’t say enough about how wonderful this organization is. The impacts of wishes granted to children with severe medical conditions are immeasurable.

“When children are battling a critical illness, so much of normal childhood is taken away from them — it is exhausting, both emotionally and physically,” explains the Make-A-Wish Canada website, “A Wish is something that gives kids the opportunity to look outside their illness — it restores a sense of childhood back to the child and normalcy back to the family.”

How does the Canadian POS referral program work?

Any time a Canadian POS client refers an individual who signs up with us, we will donate $100 to Make-A-Wish Canada in his or her name! In addition to the donation, that referring client will also be entered into a draw to win 10,000 free debit transactions! Providing a referral is incredibly easy and there is definitely no limit to how many referrals you may provide.

Simply visit our Referral Form page and fill out the boxes provided. The entire process should take less than a minute of your time. All that we require is your merchant ID and then the names, company names and phone numbers of the people you’d like to refer to Canadian POS. You can refer up to three people in one form but, as mentioned, you may refer as many people as you like by returning to the form to fill it out with new referrals.
